Istria as a wedding destination is the most popular during hot summer months, but autumn in this part of the world has even more to offer. From warm sunny days, truffle season and excellent wines to beautiful colors of the nature and abundance of local seasonal produce. Wanting to show all the beauty and appeal of autumn Istria destination wedding, we put together a styled shoot in the heart of Istria.

Marijan Arman Vinery, situated on rolling hills of west Istrian wine region offered a stunning location for our styled Istria destination wedding. Beautiful backdrops of vineyards and the Adriatic, a wide-open terrace and a space for both outdoor and indoor ceremony combined with a century-long wine-making tradition make it a truly breath-taking location for small Istria destination weddings and elopements.

Ticiana Peteh chose the location and used its surroundings as an inspiration for an autumn themed styled shoot. For table decorations she used pampas grass, hydrangeas, roses, hawthorn and oak branches as flower pieces, together with golden vases and candle holders for added luxury. To round up the feel she used deep red books and seasonal fruits, pumpkins, pomegranate, and hazelnuts. The centerpiece of her decorations was a lavish and rich wedding bouquet. Made entirely out of plants easily found in the area, it was a true symbol of autumn. For the base of it, she used fresh oak tree branches and white hydrangea flowers. Wild and classical at the same time, it was enriched with deep red berry shades of scented sage and hawthorn. A final touch of her decorations was a delicate and simple cake decor, with only a few red berries on the pearly white icing.

The dress, a stunning five-piece designer gown by Martina Herak was made out of lace and tulle. Somewhat avant-garde, it gave a perfect contrast to soft and warm decorations and mellow surroundings.
